ROMEO & LOCKWOOD RECEIVE "HORIZON" AWARD

SWEET DIXIE RECORDS, INC., proudly congratulates ROMEO & LOCKWOOD
on their latest success!
Airplay International hosted its 11th annual KING EAGLE AWARD
SHOW in Nashville, Tennessee, from September 25-27. On September
26th, Jeannie Romeo and Alice Lockwood were presented with the "HORIZON" AWARD
for their "hard work and dedication to the world of music." This
is the second award this year for the duo, who peaked at #13
on the TOP TRAX traditional Country Music Chart. Last April,
they received the "STAR ON THE HORIZON" AWARD from
the Tennessee Country Music Alliance. Their CD, entitled "HEARTFELT",
which contains all originals, has been receiving airplay throughout
the country, as well as overseas.
Romeo & LOCKWOOD gave two stunning performances during the
King Eagle show, with an audience response which was not lost
on the industry veterans who were present. Bunnie Mills of Greenback
Records, who introduced them, told the audience, "All I
can say is, we've got a couple of superstars with us. Later she
said to Jeannie & Alice, "What you girls do is a Las
Vegas act!"Jason Hawkins of Foxfire Records said, "You
absolutely blew me away!" Dick Allen, DJ at WHIM in Providence,
Rhode Island, said he was anxiously awaiting their next CD.
Jeannie Romeo and Alice Lockwood thank everyone who has supported
them. They are currently planning to record another CD which
should be released next year.
Romeo and Lockwood receive a second award at the Best of Texas
international award show for their live performance. Jeannie
and Alice received the Best of Texas Golden Note Award (2003)
for “Outstanding Performance Showcase”.
Host Lou Nelson of Texas Drover Records presenting Jeannie and
Alice with the Best of Texas International Award 2003 for “Country
Duo of the Year”.
Alice’s mom also receives praise for all
her efforts.
It was a winning day for Romeo & Lockwood.

won the
STAR ON THE HORIZON
award from the
Tennessee Country Music Alliance
on Sunday, April 20th, 2003
at the Music City Sheraton Hotel TCMA Music
Festival and Awards show. They performed several times throughout
the event and got a great reaction from both attendees and fellow
performers.
